In Helsinki, the goals of health and welfare promotion in Helsinki are to improve the well-being, health and safety of the city residents in everyday environments. Fairness, equality and residents’ opportunities for participation are promoted with health and welfare work. It is used to prevent health and welfare disparities, social exclusion and loneliness as well as to promote the use of knowledge-based prevention methods and models. This is done to support the development of a socially, ecologically and economically sustainable city.

The City of Helsinki is conducting a survey to collect information about Helsinki residents’ experiences of domestic violence and the help they have received. Your response will help us develop services and support for people affected by domestic violence and their loved ones.

All Helsinki residents aged 18 or over can respond to the survey anonymously.
